{"id":15,"date":"2017-07-12T17:58:14","date_gmt":"2017-07-12T08:58:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eltsource.com\/?page_id=15"},"modified":"2017-08-10T08:57:58","modified_gmt":"2017-08-09T23:57:58","slug":"study-abroad-programs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eltsource.com\/en\/for-schools-in-japan\/study-abroad-programs\/","title":{"rendered":"Study Abroad Programs"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/eltsource.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/for_schools_study_abroad.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"237\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-183\" \/>ELT Source teachers have been thoroughly involved in the Study Abroad program at Tokai Gakuen from start to finish with ELT source instructors having helped design and implement the school\u2019s program.<\/h3>\n<p>ELT Source instructors\u2019 act as co-homeroom teachers for all students within the program; set the curriculum, do all evaluation, participate in parent teacher interviews, chaperone the students to and from Canada and also help to deal with any problems that may arise.<\/p>\n<p>The 1st year of the course consists of preparing the students for their year abroad with a heavy focus on English. The students spend their second year in a Canadian high school enrolled in regular public school classes.
